About the event
Join us for a joyful winter solstice luminaria walk honoring the Southern Resident orcas and all creatures of the Salish Sea. As we gather on one of the darkest evenings of the year, we’ll light the shoreline with hope, reflection, and a shared commitment to caring for the waters and wildlife that connect us.
Stay afterwards to celebrate community connection to the sea with a campfire and s'mores on Sunset Beach.
Registration is not required. This event is free and open to all ages.
This event is FREE for all to attend! We want everyone to have the ability to experience the wonder of the sea. If you would like to help support this event and other marine education programs, please include a donation amount of your choosing in the section below. All gifts are deeply appreciated!
